Dear Students,
Our goal is to build a better Poland in which everyone will feel comfortable. We draw inspiration from Swiss direct democracy, but also from Estonian e-democracy and Singaporean technocracy (although the latter to a limited extent).
We would love to see your presence in our activities. We plan to create a web and mobile application to support civil society. We want to explain the law in plain Polish, as well as allow citizens to report their own pain points (what they don’t like about the law) and preliminary ideas for solving them. And these are just some of the functionalities.
We are looking for law students (third year or above, or those working in the industry) who would be interested in participating in a one-and-a-half hour interview with us or willing to create content for our portal. We also encourage students of journalism and related fields, eager to edit our reports or create content for social media, to contact us. Computer science students are also important to us in order to help with the creation of the software itself. And, above all, we welcome all volunteers – if you feel you can support the foundation.
As a foundation, we are now participating in the incubation process of the Sector 3.0 Fund grant program. From a record number of applications, we qualified as one of ten teams and are competing for PLN 100,000.
If you are interested, we encourage you to contact us without obligation by email at fundacja@demokracjaprzyszlosci.org.pl.
If you wish to attach your resume, please add the clause “I consent to the processing of my personal data by the Future Democracy Foundation for the purpose of recruiting for the position I am applying for”. If your resume includes a photo, the foundation will also process the image.
After sending a message, we suggest adding our domain to the list of allowed senders or checking spam if you have not received a reply.
